Dear Alamo Community,
Alamo Elementary is more than a school — it’s a vibrant, nurturing place where students grow through creativity and community. As one of San Francisco’s most popular public elementary schools, Alamo’s success is powered not just by great teachers, but by you — our incredible families.
Some of the most cherished parts of an Alamo education — from music and ceramics to garden education — aren’t funded by the district or the state. They are made possible thanks to generous donations from families like yours.
That’s why we’re asking you to join us in this year’s INVEST IN ALAMO campaign. Our goal is to raise $70,000, and every dollar will directly support programs for the 2025–26 school year, including:
- Full-time music instruction
- Ceramics studio program
- Garden and outdoor education program
- Literacy consultant and reading support
- Math instructional support
- Scholarships and facilitation of after-school enrichment programs including chorus, ceramics, dance, drama, yoga, coding & Spanish
These programs touch every student at Alamo, in every grade, from kindergartners molding their first clay creations to 5th graders finding their voice in music class with Ms. Kat. Students at Alamo experience a wide range of arts, literacy, and outdoor education programs unique to the school and beloved by all.
We ask you to give what feels meaningful for your family. Whether it’s $5, $50 or $5,000, what truly matters is that we all participate. Together, we can ensure these extraordinary programs continue to enrich our children’s education.
